Our Story

Farming with love

We started our journey at the epicenter of this crisis in Northern Nigeria in 2016. Our founder started with less than N100k capital. A journey that started with maize and rice paddy farming in the fall of 2016. In the spring of 2017, our founders grew 1 hectare of tomato. In the fall of 2017, the founders grew rice paddy. By the fall of 2018, operations have significantly improved. We were Engaged by Dangote Tomato Processing company LTD as contractors to farm 5 hectares of tomato. This is the beginning of the next stage of our journey. By the fall of 2021, we have worked as contractors of Dangote Tomato processing LTD thrice and have farmed over 50 hectares of rice paddy and maize.

In order to make Nigeria’s agriculture productivity more sufficient, the government and private sector need to develop ways to enhance the competitiveness of locally grown products in the international market and improve the efficiency of local food production.
